The automation specialist Bernecker + Rainer Industrie-Elektronik Ges.m.b.H, based in Eggelsberg, Upper Austria, was able to increase revenue by 15% to €175 million for the fiscal year ending on the 30th of June, 2005. At the same time, the number of employees has increased by approximately 13% to the current number of 1271.
Continued innovation and technologically advanced systems have made it possible to nearly double revenue in the last five years. This positive trend is continuing. An average increase in revenue of about 15% is also expected for the coming year. To guarantee leading innovations, approximately 17% of the revenue has been reinvested exclusively for research and development. The number of employees has also developed very positively with the majority being employed at the production plant in Austria.
