End customers often specify their unique wishes to the manufacturers of valve manifolds. This means that the machine manufacturer has to expend considerable effort for fieldbus integration every single time. Additional costs can also result for documentation, logistics, replacement parts, and service.
The solution is the integrated valve manifold connection on the X20/X67 system from B&R. Different valve islands can be connected simply and economically using a standard module. It allows standard devices to be used with multi-pin connectors instead of valve manifolds with expensive fieldbus connectors. Regardless of the type, valve manifolds are always integrated in the same way. This connection module can be used remotely and is available with IP20 or IP67 protection.
